Desde ent\u00e3o, os equipamentos de filmagem, proje\u00e7\u00e3o e profissionais come\u00e7aram a promover o desenvolvimento de produ\u00e7\u00f5es cinematogr\u00e1ficas nessa regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>No s\u00e9culo XX, especialmente na Argentina, Brasil e M\u00e9xico, amplia-se a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o dessa arte e, em 1930, a Am\u00e9rica Latina desperta o interesse de muitos cineastas estrangeiros que buscavam tem\u00e1ticas diferentes para seus filmes.<\/p>\n<p>Na d\u00e9cada de 40, ocorreu a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de muitas com\u00e9dias mexicanas que mostravam a vida no campo acompanhada de um discurso nacionalista. No Brasil, surge a Atl\u00e2ntida Cinematogr\u00e1fica, uma companhia sem grandes investimentos em infraestrutura, mas com produ\u00e7\u00f5es constantes. Teve como estreia \u201cMoleque Ti\u00e3o\u201d (1943), dirigido por Jos\u00e9 Carlos Burle, mas a companhia fez sucesso com o g\u00eanero <em>chanchada<\/em>, de baixo custo e com apelo popular.<\/p>\n<p>Diretores, como Juan Orol e Ram\u00f3n Pe\u00f3n, exploravam diferentes formas dos dramas humanos inspirados pelas radionovelas e pelo estilo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o norte-americana, o <em>\u201cAmerican Way of Life\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Com a descoberta do cinema sonoro, proliferam-se a produ\u00e7\u00e3o dos musicais e as trilhas sonoras passam a ser fundamentais na cria\u00e7\u00e3o dos filmes. Os espet\u00e1culos cantados e dan\u00e7ados contavam com o nome de artistas consagrados da m\u00fasica Latino-Americana e contribuiu para a populariza\u00e7\u00e3o dos g\u00eaneros musicais urbanos.<\/p>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a II Guerra Mundial, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o cinematogr\u00e1fica da Am\u00e9rica Latina se transforma ao mesmo tempo que a produ\u00e7\u00e3o hollywoodiana vai adquirindo hegemonia. Nas regi\u00f5es sul-americanas surgem as cinem\u00e1ticas e o neorrealismo italiano torna-se uma refer\u00eancia para os cineastas nas abordagens do homem comum. Mais para frente, o movimento art\u00edstico do cinema franc\u00eas \u201cnouvelle vague\u201d (nova onda) tamb\u00e9m traria seus adeptos dentre os diretores Latino-Americanos.<\/p>\n<p>Na d\u00e9cada de 80, a concorr\u00eancia com as produ\u00e7\u00f5es norte-americanas, o bloqueio criativo e o desencanto do p\u00fablico com as filmagens nacionais, faz com que o cinema latino decline. Na tentativa de atrair o gosto popular, muitos cineastas recorrem a adapta\u00e7\u00f5es liter\u00e1rias, filmes hist\u00f3ricos e com\u00e9dias que conquistassem o grande p\u00fablico. A depend\u00eancia em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao Estado (leis de incentivo e institui\u00e7\u00f5es estatais) para conseguir recursos financeiros para exibi\u00e7\u00e3o foram as \u00fanicas formas que as empresas cinematogr\u00e1ficas Latino-Americanas encontraram para sobreviver.<\/p>\n<p>No final do s\u00e9culo XX surge uma nova forma de produ\u00e7\u00e3o entre os pa\u00edses e os dilemas da sociedade e momentos hist\u00f3ricos importantes passam a ser retratados nas obras.
